When reporting a problem, please include the app name, your device model, your iOS version, and a brief description of the issue.

Please do not include private prayers, journal entries, personal reflections, or other sensitive information in a support email unless you intentionally choose to share that information.

Overview

Prayer Matters is developed by Neuhaus Apps. This Privacy Policy explains how the Prayer Matters iOS app and its support website handle information.

Prayer Matters is designed to operate locally on your device. Neuhaus Apps does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information through the Prayer Matters app.

Information We Collect

Prayer Matters does not collect personal information or user activity through the app.

• No account or sign-in is required.
• No advertising is displayed.
• No third-party analytics are used.
• No user-tracking technology is used.
• No advertising profile is created.
• No personal information is sold or shared.
• No payment-card information is collected by Neuhaus Apps.

If you voluntarily contact Neuhaus Apps by email, Neuhaus Apps will receive the email address, message, and information you choose to provide. That information will be used only to respond to your request, provide support, or maintain necessary support records.

Information Stored on Your Device

Information you create or save in Prayer Matters remains locally on your device.

Depending on the features you use, this may include:

• Private journal entries
• Written prayers
• Gratitude entries
• Saved or favorite prayers
• Bible-reading progress
• Prayer-library activity
• Reminder preferences
• Appearance and other app settings
• Other personal reflections saved within the app

Neuhaus Apps does not receive, view, store, or have remote access to this information.

Prayer, Bible, and Faith-Based Content

Prayer Matters includes Christian prayer, Scripture, Bible-reading, devotional, audio, and faith-based content.

Your prayer selections, Bible-reading activity, favorites, journal entries, and personal reflections are not transmitted to Neuhaus Apps. Prayer Matters does not use your religious activity to create an advertising, behavioral, or marketing profile.

Audio and Microphone Access

Prayer Matters may play audio-guided prayers and other included audio content. The app does not record your voice, listen through your microphone, or send your listening activity to Neuhaus Apps.

Notifications and Reminders

If you enable prayer or devotional reminders, Prayer Matters may use Apple’s notification system to display reminders on your device.

Reminder preferences are stored locally. They are not used to track you, create a user profile, or transmit your private prayer or journal information to Neuhaus Apps.

You can change notification permissions at any time through the Settings app on your device.

Tracking, Analytics, and Advertising

Prayer Matters does not track users.

Prayer Matters does not:

• Use third-party analytics
• Use behavioral or targeted advertising
• Display advertisements
• Track activity across other apps or websites
• Sell personal information
• Share personal information for advertising purposes

Because Prayer Matters does not engage in tracking, the app does not request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency system.

Purchases and the App Store

Prayer Matters is purchased and distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple independently processes app purchases, downloads, updates, refunds, payment information, and other App Store activity according to Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.

Neuhaus Apps does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card information through Prayer Matters.

iCloud and Device Backups

Neuhaus Apps does not provide a Prayer Matters account, separate cloud storage, or cloud-sync service.

Apple may include locally stored Prayer Matters information in an iCloud backup, computer backup, or device-transfer process when those services are enabled on your device. These services are controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by Neuhaus Apps.

Because locally stored information may include private journal entries or written prayers, users should review their Apple backup settings when storing sensitive information.

Data Security

Prayer Matters is designed to keep user-created content locally on the user’s device. However, no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The security of locally stored information also depends on the security of your device, device passcode, Apple Account, backups, and device settings.

Users should consider protecting their devices with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID when storing private prayers, journal entries, or personal reflections.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because Neuhaus Apps does not collect or possess your private app content, Neuhaus Apps cannot retrieve, restore, or remotely delete that information.

You may remove individual information using deletion controls available within Prayer Matters. Deleting Prayer Matters from your device may also delete information stored locally by the app, subject to any device or iCloud backups maintained by Apple.

Neuhaus Apps does not provide an account-recovery or cloud-based content-recovery service for locally stored Prayer Matters information.

Children’s Privacy

Prayer Matters does not knowingly collect personal information from children because the app does not collect personal information from any user.

Parents and guardians should determine whether the app’s Bible, prayer, devotional, and faith-based content is appropriate for their children.

Third-Party Services

Prayer Matters is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple may independently process information associated with purchases, downloads, updates, refunds, device diagnostics, backups, and App Store services according to Apple’s Privacy Policy .

This support and privacy website may be hosted through GitHub Pages. GitHub may process limited technical information necessary to deliver, operate, protect, and secure the website according to GitHub’s Privacy Statement .

This website uses Google Fonts to display its typography. When the website loads, a visitor’s browser may connect to Google’s servers to retrieve those font files. Google may receive limited technical information associated with that request according to Google’s Privacy Policy .

These website services do not provide Neuhaus Apps with access to your private Prayer Matters journal entries, written prayers, Bible-reading activity, favorites, or other locally stored app content.

Your Choices and Rights

You control the information stored locally within Prayer Matters. You can delete saved information using available in-app controls or remove the app and its locally stored information from your device.

You can manage notification permissions, device backups, privacy settings, and other system-level choices through your device’s Settings app.

If you have contacted Neuhaus Apps by email and would like Neuhaus Apps to delete information contained in that support correspondence, you may send a request to support@neuhausapps.com .

Neuhaus Apps is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of independently operated third-party websites. Users should review the privacy policy of any external website they choose to visit.

Changes to This Policy

Neuhaus Apps may update this Privacy Policy if Prayer Matters’ features, services, or privacy practices change.

When this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date will be changed.
